The operation was carried out by officers from the “Sinsacate” Road Safety Section, under the command of Squadron 65 Córdoba. The vehicle, originating from Río Negro and bound for Tucumán, was inspected during a routine check.

Irregularities and failed bribery attempt
During the inspection, the gendarmes detected that the truck had multiple violations, such as lack of a valid license, non-compliant lights, and incomplete documentation, in violation of regulations established by CNRT and SENASA.
It was in this context that the driver offered money to the officers in order to avoid being penalized. The bribe was rejected and immediate intervention was given to Federal Court No. 1 of Córdoba, which ordered the seizure of the truck and the goods. The truck driver was released, although he remains subject to the case for the crime of active bribery.
