The passing of Luis Alberto Sayavedra caused sorrow within Córdoba's justice system, where his career set a path of integrity. He served as Attorney General of the Province between 1990 and 1995, with a record free of reproach. He is remembered for his defense of order, austerity, and republican values.
Born in Frías, Santiago del Estero, Sayavedra trained as a lawyer at the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. He began as a judicial clerk in 1974 and rose to the highest positions within the judiciary. In 1983, he was appointed Examining Judge of the 1st Judicial District after the return of democracy.
His career was marked by rectitude and adherence to the Constitution. No complaint tarnished his public service. He was an example that justice can be exercised independently and without compromising principles.

Previously, in 1987, he was general director of the Córdoba Penitentiary Service. From there, he promoted significant improvements in prison conditions. His vision combined institutional firmness with respect for the law.
A career without complaints or reproach
In 2000, he was called to serve as Attorney General during the federal intervention in Corrientes. In a critical scenario, he contributed technical expertise and composure. His tenure left a mark on the judicial administration of that province.

A legacy of honesty and public service
