Authorities also seized 278 cattle, 56 pigs, 20 sheep, and 26 goats that were intended for clandestine slaughter.

The meat, which had not undergone the required sanitary inspections, was transported to an authorized cold storage facility for destruction in a digester.

The actions were carried out under Law No. 10,326 "Provincial Code of Coexistence," Law No. 6,974 "Slaughter, Commercialization, and Industrialization of Meat," and No. 5542 "Brands and Marks."

It should be noted that all meat products or by-products must come from authorized slaughterhouses and sausage producers, as these facilities provide the necessary traceability and hygienic and sanitary conditions to ensure the safety of food products.
