
Córdoba: fines imposed by the Caminera Police have increased again

This Tuesday, through the Official Bulletin of the Province, the new amounts of the fines applied by Córdoba's Road Police were announced.
Driving on the province's roads without headlights on carries a fine of almost $290,000. The increases were announced after the price of YPF's super gasoline rose.

Fines are classified according to the severity of the violations, and the amounts now reflect the increase in fuel costs.
The values of Córdoba's Road Police fines
- Minor: violations such as smoking while driving with a loss of 0 to 2 points. They carry a penalty of 20 to 100 UF. Up to $144,100.
- Serious: penalties of up to $288,200 with a loss of 2 to 5 points. A violation of this type may be not having headlights on.
- Very serious: running red lights, driving against traffic, or exceeding the speed limit, from 200 to 400 UF, with a loss of 5 to 20 points. Up to $576,000.
- Maximum: destruction or removal of road infrastructure, falsification of documents and licenses, or maximum levels of blood alcohol: from 1,200 to 2,000 UF; and disqualification from driving and even criminal charges in some cases. Up to $2,882,000.
