An unusual event surprised the audience of El Show del Lagarto this Friday. Gabriel Emiliano Moyano, 30 years old, appeared live to deny his involvement in an armed attack and minutes later turned himself in to the Police. During the broadcast, he claimed to be the victim of revenge linked to internal conflicts within the Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba's barra brava.
The accused faces a charge of attempted homicide, accused of having shot and injured a woman in February of this year. According to judicial sources, the attack was allegedly part of a settling of scores resulting from disputes between factions of the barra. Moyano denied the accusations and said that his family "is being ruined by a fabricated case."
Background and active arrest warrants
According to the ELIOT verification system, Moyano has two active arrest warrants. The first, issued in 2014, corresponds to a case of aggravated homicide by use of a firearm, handled by the Feria Prosecutor's Office of the Homicide Judicial Unit. The second, issued in February 2025, accuses him of attempted homicide for the recent attack in Córdoba.
