The arrested individuals were traveling in a Chevrolet Corsa and were intercepted during a preventive check. The procedure was carried out in block 33 of the General Savio neighborhood.
The detainees are a 33-year-old man with a criminal record and two women aged 31 and 35. During the search of the vehicle, weapons, drugs, and money were found. Everything was seized by police personnel and taken to the corresponding headquarters.
Authorities found two firearms, ammunition of various calibers, and cash. Two cell phones were also seized. Part of the seized money was in foreign currency, according to the report.

Drugs, weapons, and items linked to drug dealing
In addition to the weapons, a machete with a 19.7-inch (50-centimeter) blade was found. Authorities also found more than 115 doses of both cocaine and packaged marijuana. A precision scale and a mortar, commonly used in drug dealing, were also seized.
The seized items were taken along with the detainees to a police station. There, they were placed at the disposal of the Justice Department to continue the investigation. Official sources did not rule out further arrests linked to the same network.
