A medical emergency in the Ayacucho neighborhood mobilized officers from the Preventive Action Corps of the Córdoba Police. Sebastián, a local resident, suffered a severe decompensation at his home and his life depended on a rapid intervention. The timely response of officers Iván Brusadin and Marcos Romero was crucial to prevent a possible cardiac arrest.
Iván began cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers as soon as he entered the residence, while his partner assisted María, Sebastián's partner, who was visibly shaken. Sebastián was on the second floor (6.56 feet), so the intervention of firefighters was necessary to lower him safely. Thanks to the coordinated work, he was stabilized and transported by ambulance.
The situation had a deep impact on the couple, especially on María, who would later recall: "I felt relief seeing that they knew exactly what to do." Gratitude was not long in coming and went beyond words. From that episode, a bond was born that transcended the emergency.
