The PSA carried out a large-scale operation in Córdoba and dismantled a criminal association dedicated to money laundering. The agents conducted twelve raids on residences, offices, and banking entities in Jesús María, Córdoba capital, Sinsacate, and Villa Los Aromos. The operation resulted in the seizure of 838,968 dollars, 2,890 euros, high-end vehicles, electronic equipment, and relevant documentation.
The investigation began at the end of August by judicial order and progressed with fieldwork that revealed financial movements incompatible with lawful activities. The agents detected that the economic circuit under suspicion belonged to a company dedicated to the processing of legumes for export. According to preliminary reports, the venture was managed by a married couple identified as orchestrating operations that exceeded their declared activity.
The coordinated work between PSA and the Revenue and Customs Control Agency made it possible to reconstruct part of the flow of funds under investigation. The investigators identified transactions that revealed inconsistencies in the commercial operations of the company involved. Based on these findings, the raids were defined, which supported the judicial measure.

International maneuvers and family ties
Official reports indicate that a niece of the couple, deputy director of a company based in the United States, had an active role in the financial scheme. That company purchased containers of grains exported from Argentina and then marketed the cargo at various points in Europe. According to the investigation, those movements displayed patterns consistent with crimes against public administration.
The results of the operation included the seizure of nine vehicles, eight cell phones, nine notebooks, desktop computers, and electronic equipment. The amount of money found during the raids was so large that, during the counting, the bundles were spread out over entire surfaces in the offices where the procedure was carried out. In addition to these items, a set of documents was identified as key to deepening the financial analysis.
