Tenants on Av. Colón recorded him while he was spying, just days after a body was found on his brother's property
The building at 600 Colón Avenue returned to the public spotlight after the release of videos showing Jorge Javier Grasso spying through peepholes. The footage was sent by residents to the outlet ElDoce.tv and shows the man walking through different floors. The sequence was recorded a few days after construction workers found a body in his brother Gustavo Grasso's apartment.
Gustavo, a former police officer sentenced to 27 years for the homicide of Facundo Novillo in 2006, lived in the property where the body was found. Jorge Grasso requested renovation work and the workers discovered human remains, an event that triggered a new criminal case. Meanwhile, the former officer remains in Bouwer prison.
A neighbor described the behavior of the now accused inside the building: "He lived on the ninth floor, he got along terribly with everyone," he stated. He also added that "women reported him for harassment, he spied through peepholes, he opened doors." Some female residents obtained panic buttons due to the recurrence of incidents.

Background and arrest in Paraguay
The record of conflicts is not new for Jorge Grasso, who was arrested in December 2024 in Ciudad del Este. Employees of a shopping mall linked him to the theft of a bag containing USD 12,000 and recognized him when he returned the next day. Paraguayan police placed him at the disposal of the local judiciary.
During the proceedings, he requested treatment in accordance with the gender identity listed on his identification document, although his legal name had not been changed. After the judicial proceedings, he was deported and returned to Córdoba, where he settled in the aforementioned apartment. Since then, residents have reported repeated incidents in common areas.
The Public Prosecutor's Office is investigating the submitted footage and assessing whether it constitutes any crime against privacy. The building's management emphasized that cameras and locks will be reinforced to prevent new incidents. Due to the discovery of the body, the case remains under seal while identification tests are carried out.
