An impressive collapse of a dividing wall shook the General Paz neighborhood in Córdoba, causing damage to several parked vehicles. The incident occurred this Thursday on Jacinto Ríos Street in the 300 block when the structure suddenly gave way over a private garage. Fortunately, no personal injuries were reported despite the spectacular nature of the collapse, which was captured by security cameras.
The collapse was caused by a sinkhole caused at the Naranjos 8 building site being carried out by the firm Bugliotti Desarrollos Inmobiliarios. The construction company issued a statement assuring that it is cooperating with the authorities and will take responsibility for remediating the damage. The development firm indicated that the situation is under control and that it is maintaining direct contact with the neighbors affected by the incident.

The Municipality of Córdoba shut down the construction site to guarantee the physical safety of residents in the area. The authorities ordered the preventive evacuation of families living in adjacent homes until the perimeter is secured. The municipality demanded the urgent submission of a technical safety and remediation plan before allowing any further progress on the project.
