After back and forth because of precautionary measures imposed by a small group of neighbors, the city of Villa Allende, governed by Pablo Cornet,will have two of its gated neighborhoods with gates due to insecurity in three weeks.

The official stated that in this way progress will be made with the installation of the structures to confront the wave of robberies.
Gates to close neighborhoods in Villa Allende due to insecurity
"The first safe zone in Villa Allende" will be installed in the neighborhoods Lomas Sud and Pan de Azúcar, near the shopping mall of the town in the Colón department.
"These are two neighborhoods that border the city of Córdoba, bordering the neighborhoods Villa Cornú, Arguello Norte, and they are the ones that suffer the most from crime," he added.
The closures will be implemented between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.
"There are sixty percent more robberies that occur at night," the official said.
Crespo warned that the neighborhoods will not be completely closed, but that "safe corridors" will be left that will be monitored "with cameras and license plate readers."
Regarding the filing of the injunction against the measure, the municipality is awaiting possible developments with the appeal of the first-instance ruling.
