Possible links to a larger network
Sources in the case confirmed that the man could be linked to an organization dismantled last October 16. Back then, FPA arrested ten people accused of bringing drugs and weapons into Bouwer prison using drones. Investigators suspect that the detainee was responsible for liaison and storage of narcotics arriving from outside the penitentiary complex.
The operation was supervised by the Third Shift Anti-Narcotics Prosecutor's Office. The office indicated that the procedure is part of a plan to dismantle networks dedicated to drug trafficking within the prison system. The accused was taken to court along with all the seized material.
Fuentes del caso confirmaron que el hombre podría estar vinculado a una organización desbaratada el 16 de octubre pasado.
