The President of the United States met with the main production companies in the defense sector.

The president of Donald Trump announced that the main companies in the United States defense sector have agreed to quadruple the production of advanced weapons, referred to by the president as “Exquisite Class Weapons”, after a meeting held at the White House with the executive directors of the country's largest military companies.

As

Trump explained in a message posted on his social network Truth Social, the meeting focused on accelerating the manufacture of sophisticated ammunition and weapons systems with the objective of achieving maximum production levels as soon as possible. The president stated that the expansion began months before the meeting and that several industrial plants are currently manufacturing these systems

.

“We just concluded a very good meeting with the largest defense manufacturing companies in the United States, where we discussed production and production schedules,” said the president. “They have agreed to quadruple the production of 'exquisite class' weapons to quickly reach the highest possible levels

The meeting was attended by executives from some of the most important companies in the U.S. military industry, including Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, BAE Systems, RTX Corporation, L3Harris Technologies and Honeywell. The president also announced that a new meeting will be held with industry managers in two months to review the progress of expansion plans

.

The increase in arms production comes amid growing international tension and in the context of US military operations against Iran. According to the United States Central Command, U.S. forces have attacked more than 3,000 strategic targets inside Iranian territory since the beginning of the conflict, increasing the use of interceptor missiles and other high-precision munitions

.

Faced with concerns raised by some analysts about the availability of ammunition in the event of a protracted conflict, Trump assured that the country has large reserves of weapons. “We have a practically unlimited supply of medium and higher-level ammunition,” said the president, noting that the United States has also increased orders for these systems to reinforce its

inventories.

The increase in production includes air defense systems and advanced missiles used by the U.S. armed forces and their allies. These include interceptors from the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system and the “Patriot” missile system, as well as strategic missiles such as the Tomahawk.

Also part of the expansion plans are naval munitions such as the Standard Missile-3 and the Standard Missile-6, in addition to the AIM-120 AMRAAM air-to-air missile.

Several of these programs had already been expanded through multi-annual agreements signed between the Pentagon and companies in the sector to significantly increase production. For example, contracts with Lockheed Martin seek to triple the manufacturing of Patriot system PAC-3 interceptors and quadruple the production of THAAD interceptors. In addition, agreements with RTX contemplate significant increases in the production of missiles used by aviation and the U.S

. Navy.

The Department of Defense has also announced investments aimed at strengthening the supply chain of critical components for missile manufacturing. These include an investment of approximately one billion dollars in a company derived from the L3Harris missile systems business, specializing in solid fuel engines and other key elements for the development of

modern weapons.

Representatives of the defense industry expressed their support for the initiative. A Lockheed Martin spokesman said the company is committed to expanding the production of critical munitions and collaborating with the government to strengthen the country's military capabilities. Similarly, RTX stated that it will continue to accelerate the manufacturing of several strategic systems to support the administration's national security objectives

.

The White House believes that the expansion of military production is part of an effort to strengthen the U.S. defense industrial base and ensure that the armed forces maintain technological superiority in the face of any international threat. According to administration officials, cooperation between government and industry will be key to sustaining U.S. military leadership in the coming years
