Bandai Namco has confirmed that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has surpassed 10 million copies sold since its launch in 2020. This figure positions the title as one of the most successful video games based on Akira Toriyama's work and consolidates its relevance within the global market. Kakarot's reach demonstrates the franchise's ability to sustain its cultural impact across generations, even in the face of strong competition in the action and role-playing genre.
The game, developed by CyberConnect2, originally debuted on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One with a proposal focused on reliving the Dragon Ball Z saga through a narrative-driven approach and action mechanics combined with RPG elements. Its success led to expansion to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, versions that incorporated technical improvements such as more realistic lighting, greater vegetation density, and more detailed textures. Although the public has speculated about a possible edition for Nintendo Switch 2, the company has not yet made any official announcements, which fuels interest and expectation.
Daima Part 2 DLC already has a date: what it brings and why it generates so much excitement
The new downloadable content, titled Daima Pack: Adventure in the Demon Realm Part 2, will be available starting January 15. Bandai Namco has presented it as an expansion that broadens the story, introduces new challenges, and adds playable characters. Among them, Mini Vegeta stands out, a variant that adds a different nuance to gameplay, especially with regard to mobility and combat.

The expansion also includes confrontations against Tamagami Number Two and new enemies from the Demon Realm, offering more complex battles designed for players who seek challenging content after completing the main campaign. This strategy of periodic updates keeps the public's interest alive and strengthens the relationship between the studio and the community.
