Peter Molyneux confirmed the release date of Masters of Albion, the project that the developer himself defines as the closing of his career. The new title will arrive on April 22 and will be available exclusively on PC via Steam.
The announcement was made by 22cans, the studio of the creator of Fable, and it quickly caused anticipation among fans of the so-called God Games, a genre that Molyneux helped shape.

An ambitious return to the "God Game" genre
Masters of Albion was first presented at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024. Since then, it has been described as a modern reimagining of the god genre, combining strategy, simulation, and management.
The game proposes that the player step into the shoes of a deity who guides a people from scratch. Everything begins in the village of Oakridge, an undeveloped settlement that will grow according to the player's decisions.
Construction, management, and defense in a single world
The experience mixes city management, social simulation, and tower defense. Players will have to organize the inhabitants, develop small businesses, and fulfill tasks for different characters in the world.
