After paying off US$ 2 million in debt, La Calera begins the transformation of Avenida Bolívar and 25 green spaces.

Mayor Fernando Rambaldi inaugurated the 2026 legislative term of La Calera with a message focused on fiscal order and institutional transparency. In a speech aligned with the need for technical efficiency, the president stressed that his management chose the path of work in the face of years of neglect. Rambaldi emphasized that in politics it is not enough to say, but that what really counts is

to do.

The municipal administration managed to clean up public accounts, achieving an operating surplus after receiving a merged and indebted municipality. Within this framework, the Executive canceled debts of more than 2 million dollars, managing resources with absolute responsibility. The slogan of living with one's own made it possible to stop depending on external funds to fulfill basic services

Rambaldi linked these local measures to the paradigm shift that the country is currently going through. The mayor said that the reduction of rates and the fight against corruption are part of a necessary cultural battle. According to the municipal chief, these actions seek to make Argentina great again through genuine effort

.

Private investment and state deregulation

The municipality implemented a tax reform with administrative simplification and reduced rates to attract new private investment. Currently, La Calera offers tax-exempt programs for 30 years to promote local economic development. This incentive scheme allowed the city to be close to enabling 1,000th commerce in its jurisdiction.

Public-private coordination is another of the pillars that Rambaldi highlighted as an engine for generating real employment. Proof of this is the Blue Lagoon, which received 100,000 tourists and generated millions of dollars in revenues through mixed management agreements. The mayor also remarked that events such as the Tenderloin Festival are now self-sustainable, ceasing to be a state expense

In terms of transparency, the city established itself as the only provincial municipality with international ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery certification. For Rambaldi, honesty is not claimed, but is tested through independent audits and modernized purchasing processes. This administrative order is the foundation for the Megaplan de Obras, which will intervene more than 100 spaces in 20 months

The Megaplan de Obras and the defense of the neighbor

The central section of the speech announced works in 25 green spaces, 21 road corridors and 24 educational establishments. The plan includes the transformation of Simon Bolivar Avenue, a strategic project that begins with an investment of 1,177 million pesos. Rambaldi stressed that these actions are possible thanks to their own savings and the strict order of municipal numbers

The mayor will also send ordinances to prohibit the activity of orange trees and window cleaners, reinforcing order and public safety. He also proposed to financially reward those who care for the water resource by installing 4,000 technological meters. These measures seek to protect the taxpayer and end the waste that affects the entire Calerense community

.

Rambaldi concluded his message by confirming that the fight against the illegal toll on Avenida Ejercito Argentino is a State policy. The mayor called on the neighbors to continue working together for an ever better Calera. With concrete facts and results, the municipality reaffirmed its commitment to the efficient management model that today's society demands
