Buenos Aires Province will hold its local elections on September 7, 2025, in an electoral round separate from the national calendar. The province formalized this measure through Decree No. 639/2025, published in the Official Gazette.
The separation of the elections allows for avoiding logistical and operational problems if the provincial elections were to coincide with the national ones, as established by Law No. 5,109 and the Buenos Aires Constitution.
