Kicillof attacked LDD for exposing electoral fraud in the Electoral Justice
The judiciary carried out a massive modification in the registry that affects 80% of Buenos Aires voters
Ultra-Kirchnerist governor Axel Kicillof attacked La Derecha Diario after we revealed that the Electoral Court of the province of Buenos Aires, controlled by his government and dependent on the National Electoral Court, carried out a massive modification in the electoral register that affects 80% of Buenos Aires voters, a news story that caused strong unrest and concern throughout the province.
As La Derecha Diario reported a few days ago, this measure means that millions of people will have to go to a different location than usual to vote in the upcoming elections on September 7.
The reassignment, ordered by federal judge Alejo Ramos Padilla, eliminated more than 150 polling stations and added 714 new tables, with the excuse that some locations were "not suitable" and that the growth of the electoral register had to be addressed.

However, the measure was hardly communicated to the public and carried out with little notice, generating great uncertainty and confusion among the population. Thousands of Buenos Aires residents reported that, in many cases, the distance to the new polling center increased considerably, which will hinder the right to vote and affect citizen participation.
Kicillof's attack on La Derecha Diario
In this scenario, ultra-Kirchnerist governor Axel Kicillof decided to deny all responsibility and try to discredit the news, calling it "fake news" and targeting his opponents.
But this poor attempt at justification doesn't withstand any analysis. The data show that Peronism, under whose control the province has been since 1987, controls a large part of the institutional powers, including the local judiciary.
In fact, since Kicillof took office as governor, he has approved more than 130 appointments for judges, prosecutors, and provincial defenders, consolidating his influence over the judicial apparatus.

The worst governor in history
This electoral episode is just one more example of the lack of transparency and authoritarianism that characterize Kicillof's administration, a government marked by incompetence in areas such as health, security, and education.
In terms of security, the province of Buenos Aires faces a serious security crisis, with a provincial police force that is destroyed, underpaid, and underfunded. The rates of robberies, homicides, and drug trafficking continue to rise while the Kirchnerist government doesn't face the situation and focuses on blaming others.
In the health system, the crisis is deep and structural. Overcrowded hospitals, lack of basic supplies, and precarious working conditions are the daily reality that thousands of Buenos Aires residents must endure. Despite the severity, Kicillof doesn't present a serious plan or allocate sufficient investments to improve public care.
Public education is also in serious danger under his administration. Schools lack maintenance and teachers face low salaries and constant conflicts.
Far from being concerned about these serious problems, Kicillof spends trillions of pesos (trillions of pesos[2,204,623,000 pounds]) on political or gender-related expenses, something that doesn't address the real needs of the population, which pays the extremely high Kirchnerist taxes.
Ultimately, Axel Kicillof not only lies when he says he has nothing to do with the modification of the electoral register; he is also directly responsible for the destruction of his province, affecting the daily lives of millions of Buenos Aires residents.
