With Platense, Independiente, San Lorenzo and Huracán as the semifinalists, from the organization of the Professional League a possible change of venue for the grand final is being considered. The main reason is the considerable distance between Buenos Aires and Santiago del Estero, which could make it difficult for a large number of fans to travel.
In the event that the classic between San Lorenzo and Huracán decides the title, one of the alternatives being considered is to move the final to the Estadio Único de La Plata, which has a capacity for 53,000 spectators, that is, 11,000 more than the Santiago stadium. Meanwhile, if the decisive match were to be between Independiente and San Lorenzo, the option gaining strength is the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes de Córdoba, which not only offers greater capacity but also better connectivity from different parts of the country, including Buenos Aires.
