"There were no shouts, but there was mistreatment," he stated
In a conversation with the show, Mirol denied having had a shouting match with Donato de Santis, Damián Betular, and Germán Martitegui. "I don't know who said there were shouts, that didn't happen. They evaluated my dish," he clarified.
According to what he explained, he agreed to return to the competition because people from the network trusted him. However, he maintained that within the game there were protected contestants and an internal atmosphere that did not leave him satisfied.
The disappointment with the jury
Without mentioning him directly, Mirol especially targeted Martitegui's attitude. He said that it was a great disappointment for him to see different criteria when it came to evaluating the dishes.
"With some, they became very picky and with others everything was a joke. If it's a show, it should be a show for everyone," he said, making his discomfort clear.
The reference to Momi Giardina and other contestants
The journalist maintained that he was not the only one affected by the feedback. "I felt that they mistreated me and I saw that they mistreated others," he stated.

Internal criticism and settling scores
Without giving names, Mirol took aim at some former colleagues and accused them of having become "bootlickers". According to what he said, many preferred to remain silent so as not to look bad.
Regarding his elimination, he was blunt: "They agreed to have me back and then they looked for revenge. That is what was left on the air."
