An explosive memorandum drafted by the U.S. Archivist, obtained by Republican Senator Eric Schmitt on Thursday of this week, revealed that the Biden administration planned to expand Temporary Protected Status (TPS) to more than 3 million foreigners before Trump assumed his second term.
The senile former Democratic president wanted 1.5 million Guatemalans, 600,000 Ecuadorians, 464,000 Nicaraguans, and 455,000 Venezuelans to remain eligible for TPS. With this move, Biden planned to hand over power to Trump, leaving him with an unprecedented migration crisis and shielding millions of illegals from deportation.
The Democratic administration's plan focused on granting immigration relief through TPS to one particular country: Haiti. Some actors reportedly pressured Biden to expand this list and designate other countries such as Nepal, Honduras, Ukraine, and Afghanistan as TPS beneficiaries.
Biden's desperate move
Schmitt discussed this document in an interview with Fox News. "My investigation revealed that the Biden White House, in its final stage, attempted to keep millions of illegal foreigners in our country by abusing the Temporary Protected Status program," explained the Missouri politician.
"After the American people voted for President Trump's promise to end the TPS scam, the Biden administration tried to undermine the will of the American people. This was a massive amnesty by decree. America is for Americans and it is our home; it is not a permanent refugee camp," he added.
Last month, a ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court overturned TPS protections for hundreds of thousands of Haitians and Syrians, paving the way for Trump to deport these immigrants and essentially thwarting the plan that Biden and his officials had devised to undermine the Republican leader's second term.
