Eva Bargiela and Gianluca Simeone revealed the unusual name they chose for their son

Eva Bargiela and Gianluca Simeone are experiencing a period of fulfillment. Just a few months away from becoming parents for the first time, the couple publicly shared the name they chose for their son, far from speculation or mystery, as many celebrities often do.

In her seventh month of pregnancy, the model participated in the show Pasapalabra (eltrece) and revealed with a smile what they will call their firstborn: Faustino Simeone Bargiela.

The name, of Latin origin, is a derivation of Fausto and means "fortunate" or "the one who brings good luck". In addition to its classic and simple sound, it also evokes an emblematic figure in Argentine history: Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, former president, educator, and key thinker in the formation of national identity.

As Eva herself explained in previous interviews, the choice was made together and arose from the desire to find a simple, non-exotic name, but with a lot of strength.

The couple, who began their relationship in December 2023 after meeting at a nightclub, surprised the media in May by announcing the pregnancy.

Since then, they have shared intimate moments of the wait with their followers, from ultrasounds to decorating the baby's room.

In an interview with Revista Caras, Bargiela recalled how the love story began: "We ran into each other at a party, there was conversation and chemistry, but we didn't even exchange phone numbers. Later, I invited him over for some mate at my house and from that day on we never separated again," the blonde said about how the explosive love between them started.

With a consolidated cohabitation and the baby's arrival expected in mid-October, both have already settled into a residence designed to welcome their child in a calm and comfortable environment. Bargiela, active on social media and in collaborations with beauty and fashion brands, continues working during her pregnancy.

Meanwhile, Gianluca Simeone —who retired from professional soccer after his time at club Rayo Majadahonda in Spain— now works as a players' agent at Impacto Deportivo Agency, which allows him greater flexibility to accompany this new chapter of his life as a first-time father.
