Matías Bertolotti presented his forecast for Friday, December 5 and predicted a scorching day in the AMBA. Despite the cloudiness and storms developing in different parts of Buenos Aires province, heat will be the main feature from early on.
The meteorologist explained that the atmosphere is very unstable and that the models are not able to accurately reflect the current electrical activity. This creates a changing scenario that could lead to surprises toward the night and early morning.

Today's weather: Friday with 36°C (96.8°F) and possible nighttime deterioration
The morning started with 25.3°C (77.5°F) in the city and a slight temporary drop before the temperature rises again. According to Bertolotti, the thermometer will climb to 36°C (96.8°F), marking the last day of the heat peak.
Partly cloudy skies, high humidity, and a heavy atmosphere are expected. The cloudiness will not be enough to ease the heat index. The meteorologist emphasized that during the night conditions could deteriorate, with chances of storms due to an active band advancing from the south.
