Extreme heat continues to set the pace of the weather in AMBA and, despite the isolated showers on Monday night, relief has still not arrived. The forecast has changed again and the rainfall that was expected for the beginning of the week has been delayed.
Starting today, Wednesday, January 28, Buenos Aires City and Greater Buenos Aires remain under conditions of high temperatures and humidity, with hot days.

How the weather will continue in AMBA starting today
According to the National Meteorological Service, Wednesday will feature a mostly cloudy sky during the day and a partly cloudy sky toward the night. The minimum temperature will be around 23 degrees and the maximum will be close to 30.
Although peaks as extreme as those at the beginning of the week are no longer expected, the atmosphere remains heavy. The circulation of warm air and humidity keeps a high heat index.
When will the rain return and the heat ease?
Thursday will continue with similar conditions, without significant rainfall. A partly cloudy sky is expected and temperatures will range between 22 and 33 degrees, which prolongs the hot scenario.

The most anticipated change would arrive on Friday. For that day, the NMS is forecasting a moderate drop in temperature. With a maximum close to 29 degrees, it would mark the end of the extreme heat.

According to the specialized site Meteored, there is a probability close to 30% of light rain around midday on Friday, January 29. If it materializes, it could generate slight but noticeable thermal relief.

In any case, specialists clarify that these would be isolated showers. A significant change in the air mass or an intense cold front is not expected.
What is expected for the weekend
Looking ahead to Saturday and Sunday, the forecast indicates stable weather in AMBA. Saturday will have a minimum of 20 and a maximum close to 30 degrees, with variable cloudiness.
Sunday will continue along the same lines, with readings between 21 and 31 degrees. The heat will remain, although without the overwhelming intensity of the previous days.
