The Kirchnerist leader Juan Grabois has once again pushed for agrarian reform in Argentina, a proposal that previously includes the expropriation of private lands to redistribute them, theoretically, among the civilian population. In the political landscape leading up to the 2027 elections, the national deputy from Unión por la Patria insisted on the Maoist proposal to modify the distribution of the population and promote settlement in rural areas.
During an intervention, Grabois stated that improving the living conditions of Argentines requires structural transformations in territorial organization. "Reforms of nature, of the distribution of the population in the territory, which is part of the idea of agrarian reform", said the communist, who has openly defended land expropriation for years.
The representative of Patria Grande also raised the need to "repopulate the homeland" and "repopulate the countryside", while linking the initiative to a new organization of living conditions. He also defended an urban reform that considers the integration of "popular neighborhoods" and called for advancing with "deep reforms in things we must dare to touch".
