Facundo Saxe: The delusional 'researcher' at CONICET funded with public money
He works at CONICET and is dedicated to researching 'anal comics,' gender studies, and queer theory
While thousands of Argentine scientists struggle to sustain projects relevant to health, technology, and education amid a tight budget, the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) allocates public resources to completely absurd research.
One of the most striking cases is that of the "researcher" Facundo Nazareno Saxe, who refers to himself on social media as "fakunda ex-miss cordillera, marica-putx, CONICET researcher, agent of chaos, polyamorous."
Saxe, who is also a professor at the Faculty of Humanities and Education Sciences at the National University of La Plata (UNLP), has built his academic career around gender studies, queer theory, and representations of "sexual dissidence," topics that are always present in his "research."

Among his most widely circulated controversial works are titles such as "El pensamiento marica," "El cuerpo marica," "Lecturas monstruo: Género y disidencia sexual en la cultura contemporánea," and "Disidencias sexuales. Un sistema geoplanetario de disturbios sexo-subversivos-anales-contra-vitales."
This individual has also produced delirious reports such as the one titled: "el ano dilatado de Batman" and "las aventuras sadomasoquistas del mendigo chupapija."
As if that were not enough, one of his most criticized articles is titled "Historieta anal: cuando el cómic nos abre el culo (y nos gusta)," a piece that raises serious questions about the type of academic production funded by the national government.
In its introduction, Facundo Saxe's "Historieta anal" explains: "This text seeks to propose a sex-dissident way of reading comics: which, in this here and now, I want to call anal comic. For this proposal, I will use categories from sex-dissident thought to reflect on the twisted reading of comics."

The use of public resources, funded by all Argentines, for research that borders on delirium raises questions about how scientific relevance criteria are evaluated at CONICET.
The Argentine scientific system, historically respected and with professionals of the highest level, should not afford to continue funding with resources extreme left-wing ideological agendas disguised as research.
This case is not minor. Over the years, numerous absurd articles like those of Facundo Saxe have come to light, generating strong criticism toward CONICET.
