Florencia Peña will sue Marcelo Tinelli's production company for a multimillion-dollar debt

The actress and host reveals the tensions with Tinelli's production company LaFlia and her legal battle over the money owed

Florencia Peña decided to take a firm step and take legal action against LaFlia, the production company of Marcelo Tinelli, over a multi-million debt that has remained unsolved for months.

The actress, who was one of the central figures of El Cantando 2024, revealed on the show Puro Show (El Trece) that both she and her son, Juan Otero, are still waiting to be paid for their work on the aforementioned program.

Unpaid debt and judicial expectations

Peña did not hide her frustration when confirming that the debt affects not only her, but also her son.  "They owe us quite a lot of money and we're waiting to be paid," said the host. The actress clarified that she has tried to solve the matter amicably, but since the situation has not been solved, she will now resort to legal action to obtain what is rightfully hers.

The actress also emphasized that, despite her attempts at dialogue, Marcelo Tinelli's promise to regularize payments was never fulfilled.

"I spoke with Tinelli this summer, he promised me he would get me up to date, but it's July and I haven't been paid," Peña commented with disappointment. This situation not only involves the actress, but, according to rumors, several other artists may also be facing similar problems with the production company.

The relationship with Tinelli and the public controversy

Florencia Peña also referred to her relationship with Marcelo Tinelli, clarifying that there was not a great friendship between them. Although their children,  Toto Otero and Juana Tinelli, had been a couple in the past, the professional relationship was always one of mutual respect.  "We were never friends, but we always had professional respect," Peña said, referring to the difficulties that arose after the young people's separation.

Although she acknowledged the respect she maintained for Tinelli over the years, Peña did not fail to point out the seriousness of the situation:  "It's strange to see Marcelo in Europe while many people are waiting to get paid", she commented.

Despite this discrepancy, the actress concluded with a positive reflection on her experience in El Cantando 2024.  "I was very happy on that show with my son. I carry it in my heart, but if they pay me, that would be great," she concluded with humor.

Marina Calabró was the one who broke the news that Florencia Peña and her son will initiate legal action, after confirming that the debt accumulated by the production company includes only one month of payment for work performed between September and January, in which both appeared as hosts.

This scandal, which remains unsolved, could have significant repercussions for LaFlia if other artists decide to join the claim.
