Lorena González del Valle, a former participant in the reality show Gran Hermano, revealed that she maintained direct contact with the then Kirchner president Alberto Fernández during the pandemic, and that this was decisive for her company to access public works contracts linked to the Procrea program.
During an interview on the Border streaming, the businesswoman said that she contacted the president when the works of her construction company, Niro Construye SA, were paralyzed by health restrictions.
As she explained, after that contact, the president put her in communication with the then Minister of Territorial Development and Habitat, Jorge Ferraresi, who suggested that she participate in tenders related to the housing plan.
According to his testimony, the first step was a meeting with Ferraresi at the headquarters of the ministry, where the official explained that the status of the works should be verified and quotes made before any award was made.

“I can't tell you that you're continuing a work that I didn't manage, that I didn't do. I need to send a team, quote the work. Verify the work, know what we are talking about and the only thing I can guarantee you is that I will prioritize them when the time comes, but I need quotes to know what I am talking about,” González recalled of the then minister's words
.After that meeting, they worked hard to submit bids in between nine and ten contests linked to the Procrea program. Finally, Niro Construye SA was awarded four of these works, aimed at the construction of more than a thousand homes in
