Although he didn't score points, the Argentine had a solid performance, finishing in 13th place after starting in 18th

Franco Colapinto closed a demanding weekend at the legendary Monte Carlo circuit, delivering a standout performance in what was his second official appearance in Formula 1.

The young Argentine driver, who had started from the 18th position, managed to advance to 13th place on a track as iconic as it is complex, where overtaking is scarce and any mistake can be very costly.

After the race, Colapinto analyzed his performance with a critical but constructive view: "It was a tough, complicated race. When you start at the back, it gets difficult. It wasn't what we expected, but it was positive to qualify 20th and finish 13th," he stated.

On board the Alpine, the Pilar native managed to stay competitive throughout the race, overcoming the challenges of the most demanding urban circuit on the calendar. Although he didn't manage to enter the points zone, his performance was solid and he continues to demonstrate his evolution within the category.

Beyond the result, Colapinto valued the experience gained and the learning this event in the Principality left him. "I gathered good information, but I have to keep learning more. We need to keep understanding, because at times we were a bit far off," he acknowledged, showing his commitment to constant growth.

With an eye on what's next, he spoke optimistically about the next date on the calendar. "In Barcelona we're going to be strong," he anticipated, hinting that both he and the team have identified positive aspects to capitalize on for the Spanish Grand Prix.
