Formula 1: days, times, and TV for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

This long weekend the fifth round of F1 will take place at the Jeddah circuit, where McLaren will seek to maintain its dominance and Alpine to repeat or improve on what was seen in Bahrain

Formula 1 prepares to close its demanding series of races in Asia and the Middle East, after the Japanese and Bahrain Grands Prix. Now, it will be Saudi Arabia's turn, where the fifth round of the 2025 season will be held on the street circuit of Jeddah, from Friday, April 18 to Sunday, April 20.

After an exciting race in the Sakhir desert, where Oscar Piastri (McLaren) won with authority and Lando Norris failed at key moments, finishing just third, the British team will seek revenge and aim for a 1-2 both in qualifying and in the main competition on Sunday.

Alpine and a small relief

One of the positive notes of the fourth round in Bahrain was Alpine's recovery, which until then was the only team without points in the championship.  Thanks to Pierre Gasly's seventh position, the French team was able to score for the first time this year.

The French team will seek to consolidate that improvement in Arabia, however it will do so without Franco Colapinto as a reserve driver. The Argentine driver will stay at the headquarters in Endstone practicing with the simulator, while Estonian Paul Aron will be the alternative for the main drivers. Despite this absence, the native of Pilar is expected to reappear at the Miami GP.

Saudi Arabian GP Schedule

The event will be held again in a night format, as it happened in Bahrain, which favors the TV schedules for fans on this side of the pond. The broadcast will be, as always, through Disney+ Premium and Fox Sports, which will offer live coverage.
