Formula 1: Franco Colapinto had to dodge his teammate Gasly, who almost crashed into him.
The Argentine was inches away from being hit by his teammate at the start of the Monaco Grand Prix
On the eighth lap of the Monaco Grand Prix, at the tunnel exit, Pierre Gasly touched his left front wheel to Yuki Tsunoda's (Red Bull) car, losing control of his car and almost crashing into Franco Colapinto, his teammate.
El casi choque de Gasly con Colapinto
The Alpine had exited the tunnel area close to the Red Bull driver and didn't brake in time, causing a strong impact against the rear of the Japanese driver's car.
After the collision with the Japanese driver, the Frenchman's car almost lost the tire and had a complete break of the left front suspension. "I lost my brakes," the Frenchman claimed after the hit with Tsunoda, who didn't take it well: "He's an idiot! What is he doing?".

Fortunately, the out-of-control A525 didn't crash into anyone else, although it came close to hitting Colapinto. The Argentine was further ahead, leaving behind the "Nouvelle Chicane," but his teammate's car skipped the curve due to the high speed and was very close to crashing into the other Alpine.
Although the car was severely damaged, Gasly was able to take it to the pitline, and the race had a yellow flag until the wing that had detached at turn eleven could be removed. Meanwhile, the Red Bull driver also went through the pits, and despite the hit, his car didn't register severe damage, so he continued the race, finishing in seventeenth position.
