Formula 1 is experiencing key days for Franco Colapinto's future, while Alpine is defining its line-up for 2026. Everything indicates that the Argentine driver will continue with the French team, sharing the grid with Pierre Gasly, and is already working on the development of the new car.
From Mexico, where the next Grand Prix will take place, the Buenos Aires native held a press conference in which he spoke clearly about his present and the challenges of this season: "We're working better and better. This is a transition year, we knew 2024 was going to be difficult. It's been more difficult than we thought, that's the reality, but I'm working a lot on next year's car," he explained.
Despite the adverse results, Colapinto highlighted the working atmosphere within the team: "I feel comfortable with the team and with the engineers. We're working very well and pushing in the same direction. That's the most important thing for me so far," said the native of Pilar, who hasn't managed to score points yet in his first full season in the top category.
