Frigerio: 'In Entre Ríos, we have lowered all taxes in real terms'

The governor detailed the debureaucratization measures and tax relief initiatives implemented in Entre Ríos

The governor of Entre Ríos, Rogelio Frigerio, replied to those who questioned the fiscal policy of his administration and denied that taxes haven't been reduced in the province. Through his account on the social network X, the governor highlighted the widespread reduction of taxes and the elimination of more than 100 fees, while reaffirming the productive focus of his government.

"Some misinformed people claimed that we hadn't reduced taxes in Entre Ríos. False," wrote Frigerio, citing a response from the artificial intelligence Grok which, although it validated the measures, according to the governor "fell short."

Real reductions and cuts in political spending

Frigerio stated that in a context of severe budgetary restrictions—with revenues similar to those during the pandemic but with greater responsibilities—an effective reduction in the tax burden was achieved. "We reduced all taxes in real terms compared to inflation," he emphasized.

He also stressed that more than 100 provincial fees were eliminated—half of the total existing ones—with the aim of reducing bureaucracy and providing relief to taxpayers. He also mentioned the reduction or elimination of Gross Income and Stamp Tax rates for key sectors of the provincial economy, and promised that this trend will continue.

In this context, Frigerio emphasized:  "For the first time, the adjustment doesn't fall on the private and productive sector, but on politics. That is the essential change we are making in Entre Ríos. We're not going to be stopped."

Grok backed the data

Frigerio's response also received support from the artificial intelligence Grok, developed by X. In a later update, the AI cited official sources such as ATER and the provincial government portal to confirm that 103 fees (50% of the total) were eliminated, Gross Income and Stamp Tax rates were reduced in strategic sectors, and 100% of the Rural Property Tax was allocated to the maintenance of productive roads.

"Excellent management!" Grok concluded in its message, which was shared by the governor himself on his profile.
