Within the framework of the 50th Congress of Travel Agents, the city of Paraná hosted the 171st Assembly of the Federal Tourism Council (CFT) this Tuesday. The event was attended by the governor of Entre Ríos, Rogelio Frigerio, and the Secretary of Tourism, Environment, and Sports of the Nation, Daniel Scioli, as well as prominent officials, entrepreneurs, and representatives of the Argentine tourism sector.
During his speech, Scioli celebrated the joint work between the public and private sectors, noting that "there is unity in the entire tourism sector" and highlighted that "key issues such as investments, events, and training are being addressed in a coordinated manner."
Additionally, the Secretary of Tourism announced that a request was submitted to the Chief of Cabinet, Guillermo Francos, to establish a long weekend in October, in order to boost tourism activity throughout the country. "We want to promote activity in all regions," he stated.
Tourism and work: a common policy
Meanwhile, the governor Frigerio emphasized the importance of tourism as a generator of genuine employment, highlighting that "today governing means creating jobs." In this line, he stated: "Both tourism and sports bridge all gaps and make us work together."
