According to Etchegoyen, Vázquez's inner circle claims that the actress, despite having spoken fondly of him in recent interviews, became furious when she found out that the actor was allegedly the one who leaked the information to the press.
"What I'm told is that Gimena is quite upset because he's the one who revealed the infidelity when several days had already passed since the separation", the panelist commented.
Although he clarified that it's not entirely clear whether Nico was the one who directly told De Brito or if the host obtained it through another source, Etchegoyen insisted that the actress felt exposed. "Gimena is disappointed with Nico for having made it public", he pointed out.

"What I'm told by a very reliable source is that, as soon as she saw what Ángel said on LAM, she immediately called Nicolás and reproached him with a 'What the hell did you do?'", Etchegoyen recounted, implying that the actress felt the actor had betrayed the discretion they had agreed upon.
The journalist concluded: "Obviously, she was the one who made the mistake, but it's also true that if Nico's intention was to protect her, it's strange that he decided to expose this painful secret."
