The term of Marcelo Moretti at the helm of San Lorenzo has officially come to an end. Chamber B of the Civil Court confirmed the ruling of Civil Court No.51 and rejected the appeal filed by the former president, who sought to annul the vacancy decreed at the Board of Directors meeting on December 16, 2025.
In the judicial document, it was stated that "the plausibility of the right invoked has not been proven" and that "pieces of evidence with sufficient strength to grant the appeal" were not submitted. This way, the court decided to confirm the appealed decision and made the declaration of vacancy final.

On that December 16, Moretti had convened, by court order, a Board of Directors meeting at the Nuevo Gasómetro. The meeting resulted in the resignation of most of its members, with the exception of Néstor Ortigoza, Cristian Evangelista, Alejandro Tamer, and Sergio Costantino. With that scenario, the institution came under the authority of the members' assembly, which appointed Costantino as interim president.
