Seven men were arrested following an investigation that linked various lootings in the northern area of the city

A police operation dismantled a criminal organization accused of robbing warehouses and offices in the northwest area of Córdoba Capital. The investigation began after a break-in at a company in the Los Boulevares neighborhood, where the thieves took money, supplies, and computer equipment. The perpetrators acted with precision: they neutralized the alarm systems hours before and returned at dawn to carry out the robberies.
The case came to light after a company detected that its security system had been disabled without prior notice. When entering the premises, the owners found that several areas had been looted and that merchandise, computers, and a safe containing money were missing. The security cameras had also been removed, which demonstrated a planned and coordinated operation.
The police determined that the criminals observed the movements at the location for hours to ensure they would not be detected. Once the absence of staff or patrol cars was confirmed, they returned with tools to enter and steal as much as possible. The most recent robbery, which occurred on October 13, was the starting point of the judicial investigation that currently has seven people in custody.

An investigation with several simultaneous raids
The operations were carried out in the early hours of Tuesday by the Department of Civil Brigades, under the orders of prosecutor Juan Pablo Klinger. To prevent leaks or alerts among those involved, the interventions were conducted simultaneously at different residences in the city. In each of them, items were found that would link the suspects to the robberies of companies and factories in the northern Córdoba region.
Among those detained are men between 20 and 45 years old, accused of aggravated robbery in populated areas and as a group. In addition, one of them faces charges of aggravated concealment, according to judicial sources. The case could be expanded in the coming days if their involvement in other similar incidents committed in nearby industrial parks is confirmed.
Investigators believe the gang may have carried out multiple robberies using the same method: disabling alarms, forcing entry, and stealing valuable items. This pattern is repeated in several incidents recorded during weekends, when the facilities remained empty. The investigation is progressing with new technological evidence and tracking that could lead to more arrests.

The cellphone that allowed authorities to dismantle the criminal network
The key to the case emerged from tracking a phone stolen during one of the raids. That information made it possible to locate a residence in the Argüello Lourdes neighborhood, where devices and other items related to the case were seized. Among them, the main suspect's cellphone was found, which gave a decisive turn to the investigation.
With that discovery, links were established between the different members of the gang and their movements before and after each robbery were reconstructed. Intelligence work made it possible to determine how they operated, what roles each one played, and how they disposed of the stolen material. Based on this information, the raids that led to the arrests were ordered.
Authorities highlighted that the success of the investigation was possible thanks to the coordinated work between the judiciary and territorial brigades. This approach, which assigns the same police and judicial teams to investigate crimes by area, allowed for rapid and precise progress. The case remains ongoing and further charges are not ruled out as the collected evidence is analyzed.
