Garrahan Hospital reported Futurock and Kirchnerist Julia Mengolini
Mengolini and her radio station disturbed doctors and patients, in addition to endangering the facilities
Garrahan Pediatric Hospital, one of the country's most prestigious and sensitive medical institutions, published a strong statement this Monday after filing a complaint with the courts regarding the unauthorized installation of the Futurock radio station, directed by Kirchnerist journalist Julia Mengolini.
The incident took place at the hospital entrance and caused discomfort among both the authorities and the medical staff, as well as the families who attend the children's health center, in addition to endangering the facilities.
According to the official statement, the Futurock team carried out a broadcast without any kind of authorization, even though the hospital had already explicitly requested that they not do so. The installation was set up at the Garrahan entrance and was improvisedly connected to the hospital's electrical network, which created a risk for the facilities and added tension to a day already delicate due to the constant care of children undergoing complex treatments.

"This action directly or indirectly violated the privacy of children, families, and health personnel," the hospital warned in its message, and emphasized that disturbing noises also occurred and the usual dynamics of the establishment were disrupted, affecting the tranquility required for the daily operation of a high-complexity pediatric medical institution.
The broadcast by Mengolini and her team was organized for political reasons against President Javier Milei's government, and turned the hospital entrance into a scene of partisan activism.

"We ask the entire community, and especially the media, to be aware of the value and seriousness that Garrahan requires," the statement added. The institution demanded respect for the space and warned that the country's most important pediatric hospital can't be allowed to be used for purposes unrelated to its medical and humanitarian mission.
"We can't allow the country's most important pediatric hospital to be used to carry out actions that go against the well-being of children, or that hinder the work of health personnel, who do not respond to political interests," the hospital concluded.
