Kirchnerists besiege Garrahan Hospital and endanger the lives of children
Health teams are working to ensure the hospital continues operating despite the external disturbances
Meanwhile, Kirchnerist activists are holding a protest in front of Hospital Garrahan. Inside the pediatric health center, highly complex medical interventions are being carried out that can't be interrupted without endangering the lives of the children.
According to an official statement from Hospital Garrahan itself, the medical teams are working with maximum focus and commitment to maintain the hospital's normal operations, despite the disturbances caused by the Kirchnerist demonstration at the entrance. "Our priority is the children's health," the institution stated.
At this moment, Garrahan is performing five highly complex surgical procedures that require silence, precision, optimal sanitary conditions, and total institutional stability.

As revealed, one of them is particularly significant: a liver donation from a mother to her baby, including a transplant, which is also being broadcast live as part of an international pediatric transplant course with the participation of professionals from around the world.
In addition, two neurointerventions are being performed for congenital cerebral arteriovenous malformations, a rare and highly dangerous condition that can severely compromise the patient's life if not treated by specialized teams from the earliest stages of life.
The fifth procedure is the first stage of a complex spinal surgery for syndromic scoliosis in a child referred from another province, where the child had already undergone previous surgery.

In this context, the Kirchnerist demonstration interferes with the normal development of medical activity in one of the country's most important pediatric health centers. Garrahan not only treats patients from across the country, but also trains professionals, leads research, and performs procedures that save lives every day.
Any interruption of medical work due to external causes can result in irreparable consequences for patients in critical condition. The hospital reiterated that they are doing "everything possible to keep the hospital running" and asked society to respect the work of health professionals and the right of children to be cared for in safe and calm conditions.
