National Gendarmerie expelled nine Chinese citizens who had illegally entered Argentina from Brazil, following two operations carried out in the province of Misiones. Seven of them were detected at the Posadas Bus Terminal as they were preparing to travel to the City of Buenos Aires.
The first operation was conducted by members of Squadron 50 “Posadas,” who were performing documentation checks at the terminal. There, they identified seven Chinese citizens who were scheduled to board a long-distance bus with a final destination to the Federal Capital.

When requesting the corresponding documentation, the agents verified that they could not prove a legal entry into Argentine territory. Due to the irregularity, the National Migration Directorate was involved, which ordered their expulsion through the Tancredo Neves International Bridge, connecting Puerto Iguazú with Foz do Iguaçu.
In a second operation, members of Squadron 13 “Iguazú” transported two other Chinese citizens who, according to official information, had also illegally entered the country from Brazil. In this case, the National Migration Directorate, along with the Federal Prosecutor's Office of Puerto Iguazú, intervened to guide the continuation of the proceedings and the subsequent expulsion to Brazilian territory.
