Gimena Accardi: it was revealed that she had already cheated on Nico Vázquez in 2018

This Tuesday,Gimena Accardi  faced one of the most difficult moments of her personal life. The actress publicly confessed that she had been unfaithful to Nicolás Vázquez, and criticism on social media quickly followed. The actor, meanwhile, replied with a message in which he highlighted his values and recalled the 18 years of love they shared.

However, on LAM (América), it was revealed that this was not the first time the couple had gone through a situation of this kind. According to Pepe Ochoa, Accardi had already had an affair in 2018 that Vázquez found out about and forgave.

The journalist, who is replacing Ángel de Brito as host, explained that the problems between them intensified when he starred in the play Tootsie and she agreed to join the streaming channel Olga. He stated that this decision marked a turning point in the relationship.

Immediately afterward, Ochoa surprised with a revelation from the past:  "In 2018, Gime had a story with someone who lived near where they currently reside. It was not just one outing; there were a couple of intimate encounters."

The panelist added that this person was not part of the couple's close circle, although Vázquez knew him by sight. Despite the pain, the actor found out and decided to forgive.  "There were a few months of flirting and sex during a summer, and Nico knew about it," the producer stated.

Accardi's statement and her version of events

The actress's confession came after rumors linked her romantically to Andrés Gil.From the streaming show Sería Increíble, Accardi clarified: "I made mistakes, I messed up badly, and I take responsibility for part of it. The other half of what was said is not true."

She stated that she spoke directly with her husband, to whom she gave explanations: "Yes, in these 18 years I was responsible for a mistake. Nico forgave me, looked me in the eyes, and told me that doesn't define me."

Accardi also acknowledged that the relationship had already been in crisis for a year, with constant ups and downs. "It was not the trigger, but it was the straw that broke the camel's back," she admitted.

Without naming anyone, she denied that those mentioned on the shows were the ones involved:  "People who have nothing to do with it, who are family, are being dragged into this. I need that to stop. I take responsibility. I hurt someone I love and who did not deserve it."

According to her, Vázquez remained steadfast by her side: "Two months ago, he endured all kinds of rumors and did so like a gentleman. He took care of me, and we took care of each other."

Despite attempts to repair the bond and go through the crisis together, the story reached its end. In his latest statements to the press, Nicolás Vázquez confirmed that divorce proceedings have already begun.
