Two illegal Moroccan immigrants were deported from Argentina following a joint operation between security forces and national agencies.
The procedure, which involved the Police of Entre Ríos, the Federal Justice, and the Government of Javier Milei, through the National Gendarmerie and the National Directorate of Migrations, was initiated following an incident at the Bus Terminal of Concepción del Uruguay.
The episode took place on Wednesday night when police personnel were called due to the report of disturbances caused by two foreign men. According to reports, the individuals were exhibiting a aggressive attitude and even attempted to assault municipal workers who were present at the scene.

In response to this situation, members of the Radioelectric Command intervened to control the conflict and proceeded to subdue those involved. Subsequently, both were identified through their passports as citizens of Morocco, aged 27 and 28.
Initially, the two men were detained for violating the Provincial Contraventions Law and were transferred to the First Police Station's detention center, where they remained in preventive custody.
However, the case took on a different dimension following the intervention of the National Directorate of Migrations, which confirmed that neither of the two had a registered legal entry into the country. This verification activated the corresponding protocol for situations of migratory irregularity.
Additionally, during the investigations, it was discovered that both had a previous migratory alert issued at the border crossing of Santo Tomé, in the province of Corrientes. This was further compounded by the discovery of documentation related to a precarious residence in Brazil, which provided more elements for analyzing their situation.

The case fell under the jurisdiction of the Federal Court in the area, while the National Gendarmerie proceeded with international actions by involving Interpol. Through this agency, information was requested regarding their backgrounds in other countries via the Moroccan Embassy.
Once the corresponding legal deadlines were met and routine medical checks were conducted, both citizens regained their freedom at the police station. However, this measure was immediately followed by their detention under the current migratory regulations.
Finally, the Milei Government, through the National Directorate of Migrations, resolved their expulsion from Argentine territory, along with the imposition of a five-year re-entry ban. The order was executed through a transfer operation carried out by the 6th Squadron of the National Gendarmerie.
The procedure concluded at the Paso de los Libres–Uruguayana Border Center, from where the Moroccan immigrants were sent to Brazilian territory, thereby concluding the administrative and judicial process initiated following the incidents in Entre Ríos.
