The communist president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, ordered a march of transsexuals and transvestites to be held in Medellín, and delegated the organization of this delirious initiative to the Minister of Equality, Juan Carlos Florián, a porn actor.
Petro referred to this march during the cabinet meeting on August 19, 2025, when the president addressed the issue of "exclusion toward difference," reflected, according to him, in crimes and acts of intolerance in the country.

In his speech, Petro referred to racism and Nazism, then alluded to the murders of transsexual people in Colombia. "It's a human invention that only serves to exclude people who are different, from what they consider the race. Medellín, to the point that they're killing trans people left and right. Florián (he told the minister), listen, I asked for a demonstration of transvestites. Because now that everything turned out... Well, let's do it. They're killing people in Medellín," said the president.
In response, Juan Carlos Florián replied: "Yes, president." He also added: "Meanwhile, transfemicides have increased considerably in the country. This is the year, compared to the immediately previous year and the rest of the previous years, when the most trans women and trans people have been murdered."
In response, Petro replied: "So part of this increase in murders has to do with the murder of difference, and they're transvestites." As a result, Florián called on Colombians, and the Government itself, to work on the reduction of transvestite murders.

"Yes, president. Meanwhile, it's also a call that civil society is making to the national government. It's a debt we owe to trans women and trans people who are being murdered, also by criminal gangs, as well documented by organizations like Caribe Afirmativo, where trans women, who are generally sex workers, are extorted by the same gang three times a day," said the official.
At that moment, Gustavo Petro interrupted him and made another delirious comment: "The death of difference is typical of Nazis. Nazism is defined, there are several definitions, as the death of difference."
