Helldivers 2, one of the most successful multiplayer games from PlayStation, is preparing to arrive on Xbox Series X/S. The release date has already been confirmed by the development studio, and the game is already available for pre-order.
The announcement came after months of rumors and marks the end of console exclusivity for this cooperative action title that has been gaining players since early 2024.

When is Helldivers 2 coming to Xbox?
The Xbox Series X/S version will be available starting August 26, 2025. Arrowhead Game Studios confirmed this through its social media channels.
The title, which already debuted on PS5 and PC, will arrive on Microsoft's consoles a year and a half after its initial release.

The game can already be pre-ordered in the Xbox digital store, with two editions available:
Standard: includes only the base game.
Super Citizen Edition which includes:
DP-53 Savior of the Free armor
The Will of the People cape
MP-98 Knight weapon
Super Citizen status
Hero ship game
Premium Warbond Token

Those who pre-order the game before August 26 will receive three exclusive armor sets:

What did the Helldivers team say about this arrival?
Mikeal Eriksson, current project director, celebrated the announcement: “We know players have been asking for this, and we're happy to welcome more Helldivers to the game.”
He also revealed that there are many new features planned for the coming months, focusing on expanding the Super Earth universe.
