Used car dealerships closed the first half of 2025 with historic numbers. The sector had the best June of the last decade and a 24.21% year-over-year increase in the annual total.
According to the Automotive Trade Chamber (CCA), in June there were 143,191 transfers across the country.

When compared to May 2025 (154,830 units), June showed a decrease of 7.52%, but it remains one of the best months of the year.
First half with historic figures
Between January and June 2025, 918,404 used vehicles were sold, representing a 24.21% year-over-year growth.

According to Alejandro Lamas, CCA secretary, this is the best half-year since records began in 1995. "June was also surprising, with the best number in 10 years, although slightly lower than May," he stated.
Factors driving the sales boom
Lamas highlighted that price stability and exchange rate calm created a favorable environment for buying and selling.
