This is what Another Lost Day, Mario Pergolini's new show on El Trece, will be like.

The host returns to TV with a daily late-night show, interviews, and a live panel

Mario Pergolini  returns to the small screen with a daily big show that promises to shake up the nights on  El Trece. Starting Monday, July 14 at 10:30 p.m., the host will lead Otro día perdido, a program aiming to break away from traditional formats of Argentine television.

Expectations are high: the return of a figure like Pergolini to prime time doesn't go unnoticed. In the promo already circulating,  he appears alongside Mario Pasik  in a fun scene due to the coincidence of their initials in their names, making it clear that what is coming is not just another show.

A late-night-style format, with humor, interviews, and live games

According to Marina Calabró  on Lape Club Social (América), Otro día perdido is structured as a late-night show, with an intimate aesthetic and a strong presence of scripted elements. The set recreates a cozy atmosphere, with a divided audience, couches, and a live band that elevates the staging.

The show begins with  Radagast —Agustín Rada— introducing the program and Mario. Then, Pergolini takes his place at his desk and reviews current events with irony and jokes, in a dynamic reminiscent of Jimmy Fallon.

There will also be a central interview in each broadcast. In the dress rehearsal, the guest was streamer Nacho Elizalde, with whom the conversation flowed naturally, according to witnesses present.

Games, special segments, and audience participation

The program also incorporates playful segments led by Rada.  One of them proposes guessing the number on a die based solely on the guest's expressions, taking advantage of the host's illusionist skills. In another game, they mix the face of a program member with that of a celebrity, and the challenge is to recognize the hidden character.

During the rehearsal,  for example, Pergolini's face hid that of Mirtha Legrand,  in an unexpected crossover that sparked laughter on the set. Additionally,  Laila Roth, a renowned comedian, will have a special segment. In the pilot episode, she gracefully addressed the mistakes older adults make when using technology.

The studio is La Corte's  and features carefully designed lighting, an audience of about 100 people divided into sections, and a band that brings energy and rhythm to the show. Everything indicates that the tone will be provocative, ironic, and with its own identity.
