She bought tickets to see Duki and ended up with 25: the mistake that went viral

He thought his payment had been declined, and now he must face an unexpected and massive expense

A young woman wanted to buy tickets to see Duki, but ended up with 25 tickets and a credit card statement that almost gave her a heart attack. The episode went viral on social media and sparked a flood of memes and jokes from users.

Antonella shared on her Twitter account that she tried to purchase a ticket for the trap artist's show at River. However, since the website kept showing her an error, she repeated the process several times. The problem: all the payments were accepted.

"The good news? We have tickets to see Duko. The bad news? I got 25 tickets because the website told me 'payment rejected,' but it accepted all the payments," she wrote. Her post exploded with likes, retweets, and comments.

Social media echoed the story: jokes, advice, and support

Among the replies, many took the opportunity to joke about the situation: "You filled up all of River by yourself," "That's it, resell them," or "No wonder I couldn't get tickets." Others offered to buy tickets from her to help her recover some of what she spent.

The young woman explained that she hadn't replied to all the messages yet, but that she was trying to contact the ticket sales platform to solve the issue. "I've received many messages. I haven't replied to any yet. I'm trying to contact the website. Thank you very much," she said.

She wasn't the only one: errors, refunds, and recommendations

After the story went viral, other people commented that they'd experienced similar situations. "The same thing happened to me, I have eight tickets. They told me the website only allows four per account and cancels the rest and refunds the money," one user said.

Several followers recommended that she contact her bank or credit card company directly, instead of the ticketing platform. "It's clearly a mistake. If you call Visa or Mastercard, they'll fix it," they explained.

There were also some who, with a bit of mischief, suggested she take advantage of the situation:  "Don't cancel any purchase, with the resale you can buy a car," "Add 10,000 more to each ticket, close to the date you'll make double."

Meanwhile, Antonella's tweet continues to rack up interactions, memes, and purchase offers. A system error that, for some, could turn into an unexpected opportunity.
