Bianco admitted fragmentation in Peronism, and Kirchnerism told him to be quiet
The internal crisis of Peronism was once again exposed after the statements by the Buenos Aires provincial Government Minister, Carlos Bianco, who publicly acknowledged that the Justicialist Party is going through a stage of fragmentation and lack of leadership. His remarks did not go unnoticed and triggered an immediate reaction from the hardest-line Kirchnerism.
In a television interview, Bianco maintained that Peronism can't continue blaming third parties for its current situation and that it must acknowledge its own crisis. He pointed out that there are leadership problems and clear differences between the various sectors of the space, something that—as he emphasized—is reflected even in key votes in Congress.
Figuras del fracaso.
The response did not take long to arrive. The national deputy and secretary general of the PJ, María Teresa García, used her social media accounts to lay down the law for the Buenos Aires provincial official. With a direct tone, she urged him to remain silent and questioned the idea of raising internal debates. In addition, she hinted that the leadership of the space is constrained by the judicial situation of its main figure.
The clash exposed a latent tension between the different sectors of Buenos Aires Peronism, particularly regarding leadership and political strategy in view of the future electoral scenario. While some leaders insist on the need to rebuild clear leadership and bring order to the space, others state that the internal debate must be postponed in light of the "economic and social situation."
During the interview, Bianco also pointed to the differences that are affecting the Peronist bloc in Congress. He acknowledged that the different sectors voted in divergent ways on central issues, such as labor reform, which—in his view—demonstrates the level of internal dispersion. For the minister, that situation makes it more difficult to rebuild a cohesive political identity for the space in decline.

On tax matters, he defended the provincial fiscal policy by asserting that taxes have not increased in real terms and that the greater tax burden on production corresponds to the national level, despite the recent increase in electricity rates. He also confirmed that Axel Kicillof has not yet defined a possible candidacy.
The episode once again puts on the table Peronism's difficulty in organizing its leadership after the electoral defeat and the catastrophic economic failure. Meanwhile, the national government moves forward with its reform agenda, the main opposition force is publicly unraveling its internal disputes.
