An Iranian legislator threatened to consider the entire territory ofUkraineas a “legitimate objective”, after accusing the European country of supporting militarily to Israel in the defense against Iranian drones. The statements increase international tension in the midst of the conflict in the Middle East.
Ebrahim Azizi, a member of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said that Ukraine would have provided drone support to the Israeli government. According to the legislator, this supposed cooperation amounts to direct participation in the conflict

“By providing drone support to the Israeli regime, Ukraine has effectively engaged in the war and, under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, has turned all of its territory into a legitimate target for Iran,” Azizi said.
