In the early hours of today, the Israeli Air Force carried out a high-precision airstrike against Imam Hossein University, located in the eastern part of the Iranian capital.
This institution, far from being an ordinary university, is a scientific and military training center directly linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and identified as the intellectual core of Iran's atomic program.
The attack took place during the early hours of Wednesday and is part of operation “Rising Lion,” an Israeli military offensive against strategic targets that include nuclear facilities, missile laboratories, and IRGC command centers.
Imam Hossein University, known for training engineers, scientists, and experts in military technology, was struck by several precision missiles that, according to local reports, caused a large explosion, fires, and a dense column of smoke visible for kilometers (miles).

Although the Iranian regime tried to downplay the incident in its initial statements, it was confirmed that several campus buildings were severely damaged. The exact number of victims at the site has not been officially reported, although it is estimated that dozens of people may have been affected, including senior academic and military officials.
